The Mozambican currency recovered almost one metical against the Euro the last week, according to central bank average exchange rate.
The Euro was bought on average in the last week for 67.73 meticais, 83 metical cents less than the previous week, while sale was made at 69.07 meticais, 85 cents cheaper.
The daily average purchase price for the Euro ranged between 67.23 and 68.23 meticais, while the asking price ranged between 68.57 and 69.59 meticais.
The US dollar, the currency used to calculate the reference exchange rates for other currencies in Mozambique, was being purchased at 58.08 meticais, 48 metical cents less than the previous week.
The sale was made at 59.23 meticais per US dollar, metical 49 cents less.
The daily average purchase price of the US dollar ranged between 57.83 and 58.32 meticais, while the asking price ranged between 58.98 and 59.44 meticais.
